Stop 3/5 - Performance Hall The Performance Hall is an indoor amphitheatre considered to be the “heart” of the building. The 4,000 sq ft venue features a retractable sound-proofed wall, allowing the Hall to be opened or closed to the rest of the building. When open, sound from the Performance Hall reverberates throughout the building, allowing the building to be “played”. Stop 4/5 - Cloud Lounge The Cloud Lounge on Level 5 offers an excellent vantage point to appreciate the architect’s vision for Studio Bell. The space below, illuminated with natural light from the enormous skylight dome, resembles resonance chambers found in musical instruments. With its semicircular shape the Cloud Lounge is also the perfect spot for viewing exhibits in the round, with past 360-degree shows including Geddy Lee: Big Beautiful Bass, and TONTO (The Original New Timbral Orchestra), one of the world’s largest synthesizers.
